The Smile Foundation is an NGO that helps underprivileged children with facial conditions like cleft lip or palate, facial paralysis, burn wounds and more. Every year, the Amdec Group sponsors two events that raise substantial funds for the Foundation: the SASFIN Cyclethon and Kiddies Cycle race hosted by Melrose Arch, and the STBB-4-GOOD Mountain Bike Challenge and Trail Run at Overgaauw wine estate situated outside Stellenbosch.
