This annual event, the largest of its kind in the world, gives youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to compete within three short format sporting codes – sevens rugby, fast five hockey, and fast five netball. The event paves the way for talented young players to enter formal training and development programmes and gives them the opportunity to improve their skills, compete in a spirit of fair play and sportsmanship and gain invaluable life experience.
